how we help

how we help

Good Care Infant School helps vulnerable children by :

  1. Providing free elementary or primary education following the Uganda National Curriculum for primary schools and early childhood National curriculum.

  2. Providing free breakfast and lunch meals.

  3. Providing scholastic materials like:

  • exercise books

  • mathematical sets

  • pens

  • pencils

  • crayons

  • manilas

  • papers

  • markers

   4. Providing free school uniforms which include a sweater, dress, shirt, short, sports wear and stockings.

A school uniform is very important because it identifies a child on his or her way to and from school. Since all children of Good Care Infant School are day scholars, they walk every day from home to school and back. If a child gets a problem on the way like being knocked down by a vehicle, he or she is identified using the school uniform and the school authorities are notified who later contact the parents. Further more, the school uniform creates uniformity and prevents some children from feeling inferior or superior from others which may affect the way they learn.
